On 13th May 2016 in Bonerowski Palace***** Hotel near the Main Square in Cracow took place annual General Meeting of the International Law Life Science Organisation BioLawEurope F.m.b.A. The Board of the Association entrusted polish Law Firm KG LEGAL, which has its seat in Cracow with organising this event.
On the Meeting there have been present representatives of member states’ Law Firms from jurisdiction of European Union and EFTA.
Annual Member Meeting indicated the directions of Organisation’s activity for the next year, which will be summarized in 2016 in Paris.
This year’s agenda finished with taking official “family photo” of all of the Organisation’s members made by Photography Studio, www.adamgolda.com.
On 13th May 2016 in Bonerowski ***** Palace Hotel in Cracow will take place annual General Meeting of the International Law Life Science Organisation BioLAw Europe FmbA (“BLE”). The General Meeting is the most important event considering making decisions and summarising its yearly activity. In order to emphasise the international character of this community, the General Meeting of BLE takes place every year in a different city chosen from the member states constituting the Organisation.
Fast development of health sector in Poland provides the opportunities to use the results of medical research. The most significant effect can be visible on the example of clinical trials, which are being increasingly more often conducted in Poland (over 40 thousands of patients in Poland take part in clinical trials almost every year). The clinical trials verify the effectiveness and the safety of new medicinal products, taking into account, among others, ethic rules resulting from Good Clinical Practice, WMA Declaration of Helsinki, Regulation (EU) No 536/2014, Polish Pharmaceutical Law or Polish Medical Profession Act. The text focuses on legal regulations applicable to the Polish market of clinical trials and discusses the advantages that the Polish market offers for clinical trials, also involving foreign investors.
